Charles Homer Weller of Kennett Square
Charles Homer Weller, 88, of Kennett Square, died on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Doris E. Miller Weller, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Margaret C. Watson Weller. Mr. Weller was an area resident all his life. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1949. He was employed by Acme Markets in Kennett retiring in 1985. He was a 62 year member of the 1st Baptist Church of Kennett Square. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three daughters; Joan, wife of Walter Willis of Kamiah, Idaho, Joyce Weller of Aston, and Ami, wife of Mark Hilton of Cochranville; two granddaughters, Hailey and Hannah Hilton; and one sister, Hazel Troilo of West Chester. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, from the First Baptist Church of Kennett Square, 415 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348, followed by interment at the Union Hill Cemetery.
